Dearborn is in the process of renewing our district-level accreditation through the North Central Association.  Accreditation is a voluntary method of quality assurance where schools, districts, and universities are held to rigorous standards and heightened accountability.  The process entails self-reflection, the submission of documentation and evidence, and an on-site review by outside evaluators.  Accreditation is granted for a five-year period, and our current Systems Accreditation will expire in June, 2018.
